Women’s Health at Midtown Medical Center

Drs. Joshi and Bedard join us monthly to assist with women’s health. They see patients by referral only and are not starting their own family practices. If the spots are full, please check back monthly. Drs. Takhar and Vanderkooy have moved out of province

Pap tests are seen by a female physician. Enrolled patients can book directly online.

Need a Pap Test?

  • A Pap test checks for early signs of cervical cancer.
  • In Ontario, anyone with a cervix who is 25 or older and has ever been sexually active should have a Pap test every 5 years, or as recommended by their doctor.
  • Ontario’s guidelines changed in 2025 — if your last Pap was before the change, book your next one 3 years after your last test (unless your doctor advised otherwise).

Upcoming Pap Days

Wednesday, August 5 & Tuesday, August 25, 2026

New dates are posted monthly.

Not Enrolled With Us?

If you’d like a cervical screening exam but are not enrolled in our practice, book a medical appointment with Dr. Kamphuis first and we’ll arrange your screening. This one-time visit does not require joining the family practice
