Primary Care & Family Medicine

  • Comprehensive family medicine and walk-in care

  • Annual and periodic health exams

    • the modern Physical Exam constitutes routine bloodwork; an age appropriate blood pressure, vaccination and cancer screening review; and a review of general health concerns but does not always involve a physical examination

  • Blood pressure and chronic disease management (hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol)

  • Preventive care and screening (pap tests, cancer screening, immunizations)

  • Prescription renewals and medication reviews

  • Mental health assessment, counseling referrals, and medication management

  • Men’s health consultations (with Dr. Farzam)

  • Weight loss and metabolic health program (True North Metabolic)

Minor Procedures

  • Cryotherapy for warts, skin tags, and actinic keratoses (starting mid-November)

    • A fee will apply for cosmetic lesions (this includes skin tags) as well as warts outside of those on the feet and genitals

  • Skin biopsy and lesion removal (punch or shave)

    • Generally these are referred out except in select cases

    • We are one of the few clinics that has containers available for immunofluorescence biopsy of specific autoimmune skin conditions

  • Abscess drainage

  • Foreign body removal (splinters, superficial glass, etc.)

  • Ear syringing for wax impaction

    • Ear syringing is only offered for foreign body removal

  • Suturing / laceration repair

  • Joint injections (corticosteroid for the knee, others are referred out)

  • IUD removal

    • IUD insertion is referred out

  • Pap smears and STI testing

  • Injection therapy (vitamin B12, allergy, hormone, or medication injections)

    • Vitamin D injections are not available in Ontario

  • Cautery for nose bleeds

  • Wound glue

  • Eye foreign body removal

Diagnostics & Lab Coordination

  • Urine pregnancy testing and UTI testing

  • Rapid strep testing

Immunizations & Preventive Health

  • Routine childhood and adult vaccines

  • Travel vaccinations

  • Flu and COVID-19 vaccines (seasonal)

    • call or email to confirm availability

  • TB skin testing

    • if for work, a fee will apply

Administrative & Support Services

  • Medical forms (employment, insurance, school, driver’s medicals)

  • WSIB and sick notes

  • ODSP and other disability based paperwork

  • Referral coordination with local specialists

  • Prescription faxing and pharmacy coordination
