Dr. Kamphuis

Dr. Kamphuis is a dedicated and experienced physician with a strong background in healthcare. He completed his undergraduate studies in Health Sciences at McMaster University, followed by his medical education at the same institution.
Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, he pursued specialization in family medicine residency at Queen's University (Belleville site) and underwent additional training in acute care medicine after completing his residency — becoming an attending physician at age 25.
He has worked as a hospitalist, in the emergency department, and in various clinics across Ontario, bringing over 6 years of experience as an attending physician to Midtown Medical Center.

Dr. Farzam

Dr. Khashayar Farzam is a Canadian board-certified physician recognized for his unique blend of clinical expertise, athletic achievement, and academic contribution. An active Powerlifting national champion, he holds multiple Guinness World Records in bench press and has represented Team Canada internationally.
Beyond athletics, Dr. Farzam is an award-winning author and educator, serving as a Clinical Assistant (adjunct) Professor at McMaster University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and offers physician-led care for weight loss, testosterone replacement therapy, anabolic recovery, athlete health optimization, and fatty liver disease.
His perspective, shaped by elite competition and frontline medicine, ensures care that is both scientifically rigorous and individually tailored. He sees patients of all genders.

Dr. Helen Vanderkooy
Family Physician — Pap Testing & Menopausal Evaluations
Dr. Vanderkooy is a Guelph-based family physician who trained at McMaster University. She works with the family medicine obstetrics team in Guelph and joins Midtown Medical Center to take referrals for pap testing. In Spring she will also see patients for routine menopausal evaluations.
